    Chief Market Strategist

    Kayne is a seasoned business development professional and has been consulting with farm clients for over 15 years. Kayne brings a customer focused and unique approach to farm market consulting, putting what matters most at the forefront for each business.  Kayne is a strategic thinker and a lifelong learner and is always bringing new strategies and ideas to our farm customers. 


    Kayne is also a talented musician and when he is not driving down gravel roads to meet with our clients, he is writing, recording and performing new original music.


    Kayne is a father to two beautiful daughters and is based in Vermilion, Alberta.

    Brian Comeault

    Chief Analyst & Risk Management Specialist

    Brian holds a Derivatives Market Specialist designation and has been in the agriculture markets industry since 1999.  Brian has traded & merchandised grains, oilseeds, and special crops, and has also traded foreign exchange and structured risk management solutions for large and institutional clients.

    Brian also spent time as a grain market advisor in Alberta, as well as over a decade as an agriculture grain market analyst with Cargill and Farmers Business Network.  Brian has designed and executed risk management and derivatives training courses for industry sales professionals and farmers and has delivered countless presentations on ag markets and risk management. 

    Brian lives with his partner Sarah and his two kids in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

    Sarah Lafoy

    Chief Operations Officer

    Sarah Lafoy is an accomplished grain market consultant with a strong background in marketing, visual communications, and finance. She holds a degree in Marketing and Visual Communications from  Medicine Hat College  and has successfully owned and operated businesses in graphic design and promotions.

    With experience in the banking industry, Sarah brings a unique blend of analytical expertise and creative problem-solving to the world of grain marketing consulting. A recognized leader in her field, she is known for her strategic approach, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset, helping clients navigate complex market conditions with confidence.

    With her partner Brian, Sarah is based in Winnipeg and has two adult children currently attending post-secondary education in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
